Paris CDG airport to Versailles by train
Paris Roissy Charles Degaulle airport ( CDG ) to Versailles by the public transport
It will take you around 1 hour and a half from Paris CDG to Versailles and its Palace.
From the airport terminal 1 or terminal 2, the quickest way is to go directly to the center of Paris by train using the RER B and then to change for another train using RER C to get to Chateau de Versailles.

Step 1: CDG to Paris by train
When you arrive at CDG airport, look for the sign and take the train direction “ Massy Palaiseau” 
and stop in the heart of Paris at the RER / Metro station called Saint Michel / Notre Dame.
Step 2: Paris to versailles by train
Then look out for the sign RER C and take the direction “ Versailles Rive Gauche chateau de Versailles “. This station is the line terminus. Just make sure that you take the correct direction.
A single ticket CDG to Versailles will cost you around 12€. Double price for a return fare.

We plan on going from CDG to Versaille on Thursday, May 12th. Should I purchase the train tickets now rather than after we arrive?

Hello i arrive in paris this friday 19 at 11:35 am and i have until 8:45 pm connecting flight going to germany . Is this enough time to go to palace versaille by train and visit eveything and come back to airport on time ? Thanks et merci pour information

Hello Xavier. Greetings from India. We are coming to Paris on 4 Dec and staying in Zenitude near the airport. We are planning to go to Versailles on Dec 6. From the website, I understand that we have to take RERB line, take a train towards Massy Palaiseau direction and get down at Saint Michel / Notre Dame. At Saint Michel, change to RERC line and get down at Versailles Rive Gauche chateau de Versailles.
What will be the round trip cost – CDG-Saint Michel-Versailles-Saint Michel-CDG?
