How long does it take to tour Giverny?

Our half-day trip approximately lasts 5 hours, from the moment we pick you up to the moment we drop you off to your hotel. This leaves your guide plenty of time to walk you around Monet’s house and gardens.

When is the best time to go to Giverny?

Even with skip-the-line tickets, you should know that the Giverny gardens are typically busy in June, July and August. This is why we kindly ask you to book some weeks in advance and provide us with alternative dates if possible. Finally, if you want to avoid crowds, we recommend that you choose a weekday.

Is Giverny wheelchair accessible?

The gardens are, but please note that you will have to walk up some stairs to get to the upper floor of Monet’s house.

What should I wear for this tour?

The weather is not supposed to be too cold, as this visit is open from April to November. You will be walking for a few hours, so comfortable clothes and shoes (such as sneakers) are recommended. From June to August, don’t hesitate to bring sunscreen, hats and bottled water as well!
